SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2024: UPDATES!

See below for updates to my weekly class schedule. I will be offering acupuncture treatments out of my home and Katonah Yoga Collective once I am licensed this fall.

CONTINUING RACIAL AND SOCIAL JUSTICE WORK

I support of the Black Lives Matter movement. For related content, ways, and means to support the movement, seek out BIPOC (black, indigenous and people of color) and allow them to further the narrative. I’m following the guidance of Rachel Cargle in her Public Address on Revolution:

1) Fostering critical knowledge by educating myself via people of color.

2) Cultivating radical empathy by understanding how I play into the pain of others.

3) Practicing intentional action by addressing these issues as they play out in real time in my life.

Let’s do our part to end systemic fear, oppression, and hegemony. “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

About

I am a pianist, singer, coach, yoga teacher, and Chinese medicine practitioner. I moved to New York City in 2005, studying music education at New York University pursuing a career in music and teaching. I immerse myself in yoga with Nevine Michaan, teaching for Katonah Yoga Center and Katonah Yoga Collective. I study Daoism through the Long Men Pai (Dragon Gate sect) of the Quanzhen (Complete Reality) School. I graduated from Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine with an M.S. in acupuncture and study classical Chinese medicine with the Jade Purity Foundation.
